I had questions needed answering. It was time for me to invest in myself. My kids were all old enough - I had been putting it off for the last two years - and quite frankly, I was not feeling healthy. I set out to find some answers!
Q:How Do I achieve my results without having to sign my money away for one or two years, not knowing if the place is right for me?

A:As soon as I walked into the studio I knew this was the environment for me - friendly faces, great outlook and personal guidance from the beginning.Q:Can I attain my goals if I have time for only 1.5 to 2 hours of exercise each week?
A:My conditioner planned it all out. She enabled me to schedule my exercise in to suit my other life commitments. The programmes were specific enough to attain my goals with little available time. The fortnightly assessments and goal setting really helped as I could see my results frequently and progress to my next goal.Q:So if my exercise can be professionally cared for what about my eating? How do I know what to eat to lose body fat, body weight and to gain muscle tone?
A:They had a ten week individually tailored nutrition plan to compliment my exercise programme. It was great. I never once went hungry, it was simple to follow, realistic and easily affordable. I now have a plan that I am still following six months on and thirteen kilograms lighter.Q:I want lifestyle change! I want to roll out of bed with energy in the mornings! Well past the big "50" - in fact a little past the next one too! Becoming increasingly aware of my rounded shoulders and poor posture, I arrived at Creative Conditioning after an incident involving my very limited upper body strength. My aim when I introduced myself to Gary was to see if he could do anything to help. I didn't want to go to classes. I just wanted to know what was possible and I hoped it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg.
I have seen Gary twice a week for the last six months and not only has my posture improved, even my husband tells me I look good. I feel "jumping out of my skin" fit, probably fitter than I have ever been, and my bank account has not been seriously affected.

I went to Creative conditioning to lose weight and to get fit enough to go deer stalking. However a lot more has been achieved.
At school I was the fat kid put in the front row of the second 15.
You could say that in Feb 2004 I was 110 kg in Dec 2004 i was 84kg. My volume has dropped greatly as an indication I came down from XXXL size clothes to M to L. My shoes are much looser about half a size. I took two links out of my watchstrap. My wedding ring needs to be tightened.
As my fat has been changed into a bit of muscle my posture has changed. I stand more erect. I am starting to lose the accountants slump of round shoulders.
My cholesterol level has dropped from high 7's to 6.4. My blood pressure was greatly above recommended levels and is now spot on.
I walked the Moro half Marathon in just over three hours. I have never before competed in an athletic event apart from school forty years ago. I played squash as an excuse to drink on Wednesday nights in the 70's and early 80's and gave that up when people suggested I had to be fitter to be on the team.
The most exercise I get at work is to move my mouse on the computer screen.
I have not become a gym junky. I see Gary two times a week, eat fat free food, drink two litres of water a day (and a bit of coffee), walk the dog most days for about 15 minutes. I did do a bit more prior to the Moro half maybe an extra two to three hours a week.
There are about seven more kilos to loose.

Creative Conditioning has been one of the most beneficial experiences I have enjoyed and I am totally grateful to Gary, his trainers and willing helpers for the hard work they have put in to getting this relatively new venture established.
"A truly dynamic fitness experience" I had no idea what this concept meant when I finally turned up here after months of driving past that annoying sign on the footpath but now I can tell you that it has meant a completely new lease on life for me.
With the help of the personal training provided by Creative Conditioning I was finally able to take control of myself and begin to enjoy living again.
Sounds dramatic - but it's true - six months ago I was convinced I was bidding my time waiting for the inevitable disease process we try to avoid, to finish me off. I refused to exert myself in-case I had a heart attack - I continued to smoke because I was addicted and a glass or two of wine occupied my evenings.
And now I am fit healthy and happy... No, I haven't lost kg's of weight but I no longer have to wear loose fitting clothes. No, I can't run a marathon but I can walk for miles. No I don't smoke. And Yes at every opportunity I exert myself just a little bit more to see if I can.
